Emirati family escapes blaze
Seven-member Emirati family escaped death thanks God, after a fire broke out at their house in Al Manaseer Area in Abu Dhabi. Police and civil defense teams were able to control and put fire out quickly and stopped extension of blazes to the neighboring houses.
Lt. Col. Ibrahim Hamad Al Hanai, Head of Al Khalidyah Police Station reported that the accident happened at 03:30 pm today (Saturday), indicating that as soon as the report was received from the operation room, patrols from Al Khalidyah Police Station, three civil defense vehicles, along with one police ambulance and one patrol from the Security Media arrived at the scene.
“the fire has erupted at the main entrance of the house before spreading to some parts of the higher floor”, he said, adding that the fire has been completely put out in less than 30 minutes and necessary procedures have been taken to investigate the cause of the fire. He pointed out that the house owner sustained minor hand injury but no one else was injured in the fire.
