The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by the Central Operations Directorate General, will resume the second phase of registration in the e-ports project (E-gate) in Al Ain on Sunday. The first phase of registration for UAE and GCC nationals, residents, and others, who have entered the UAE on a visa, had started in Al Ain Mall last Sunday and concluded on Thursday.

Major Mohammad Ahmad Al Zaabi, Director of the E-Ports Project at the Ministry of Interior, stated that the registration process witnessed significant turnout; pointing out that it will resume at the aforementioned center as of Sunday October 6 and will continue through Thursday, October 10.

Major Mohammad Al Zaabi also noted that the registration procedure for the E-Port project is free of charge. “Applicants are required to bring their original passport; the registration process will take just 20 seconds,” he added.

Concluding, he noted: “The project allows passengers to benefit from the E-gate service and complete their travel procedures through the country’s ports quickly and easily, in no more than 15 seconds.”
