A delegation from Dubai Police visited the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department at Abu Dhabi Police and reviewed its impressive track record of achievements and initiatives.
Colonel Saleh Bakhit Al Rashidi, Head of the Government and Diplomatic Premises Protection Department at Abu Dhabi Police, said that the visit aims at exchanging expertise and conducting extensive benchmarking survey; so as to promote excellence in the provision of services to customers and to improve performance indicators. The visit is also intended to examine the latest developments and methods to ensure and reinforce premises protection.
Colonel Al Rashidi briefed the delegation on the department's activities and workflow. He also shed the light on the department’s organizational structure, its mission and the most important foundations and pillars included in its planning strategy; in addition to ways to improve performance within the Abu Dhabi Police’s perspective and mission.
For his part, Colonel Ahmed Suleiman Al Shehhi, Deputy Head of the department, briefed the Dubai Police delegation about the key tasks undertaken by the department and its different sections; as well as the various techniques of personnel training. Moreover, he underlined the importance of upgrading human resources and their substantial role in advancing police work. He also gave the visiting delegation an extensive explanation about the workflow, procedures and operational plans at of the department’s different sections.
