Major General Obeid El Hairi Salem Al Ketbi awarded the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to 25 officers from Abu Dhabi Police at the officers’ lounge at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
Al Ketbi stated that promotion to higher ranks increases responsibilities. He congratulated the newly promoted officers, urging them to exert more efforts to elevate police work to uniqueness and excellence, in order to preserve the gains of security and stability.
Moreover, Al Ketbi commended the efforts of the promoted officers, to enhance performance in carrying out their duties, wishing them luck and success in achieving the aspirations of our State by promoting whatever ensures the security and safety of our society.
The promotion ceremony was attended by Major General Khalil Daoud Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Faris Khalifa Al Faresi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks; Brigadier General Dr. Seif Bou Dhfeera El Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs; Brigadier Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Deputy Director General of Finances and Services, as well as Brigadier General Ali Obeid El Darmaki, General Director of Personnel at Abu Dhabi Police.
