Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and President of Bani Yas Sports Club issued a decree appointing H.E Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Bani Yas Sports Club and Mr. Mubarak Bin Muhairom Al Mahrami, Deputy Chairman of the Board.
The decision of H.H Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan comes after the death of Brigadier Matar Al Muhairi, who chaired the Board since 2008 and achieved the stability of the Club. Under his wise administration, the Bani Yas Sports Club qualified to the professional league, and achieved advanced positions in all tournaments.
Al Raisi is an administrative cadre who actively contributed to the achievements of the UAE Shooting Association, both at the local and international levels since chairing the Association in 2004. Al Raisi also served as Chairman of the Shooting Organizing Committee in the GCC countries.
Choosing Al Raisi to be Chairman of the Bani Yas Sports Club Board is a new addition to support and promote administrative work components, for his proven record of experiences and expertise.
