Nawwaf Mubarak, Bani Yas Club footballer, is addressing the public through a message to be voiced over on Emirates FM and Abu Dhabi FM. The message aims to encourage the public to stop talking or texting on their mobile phones while driving in order to avoid accidents and promote a safe society.

This message comes under the “Messages in Community Love” Campaign, organized by the Abu Dhabi Police. The messages are recorded by elite singers, politicians, journalists, directors, athletes, and other local celebrities.

Nawwaf Mubarak said that public safety is a significant matter; warning that the misuse of mobile phones while driving, whether by talking, texting, or chatting involves a great danger.

Mubarak also underlined the misuse of smart phones, which leads to the distraction of the driver, and decreases the concentration and reaction time, resulting in traffic accidents.

Two other awareness messages will be aired later by two other Bani Yas footballers, Saleh Al Menhali and Thamer Mohammed.
