The Bangladesh Embassy in the UAE examined the conditions and affairs of its national inmates imprisoned at the Al Ain Punitive and Correctional Establishments Section.
For this end, Lieutenant Colonel Saif Sultan Al Nuaimi, Section’s Chief, met with Mohammed Omran, Bangladeshi Ambassador to the UAE, and lauded the mutual communication and cooperation between the two countries.
Al Nuaimi gave the Bangladeshi delegation a brief presentation on the rehabilitation programs, humanitarian services and social care provided to inmates. He stressed the Abu Dhabi Punitive and Correctional Establishments’ keenness to coordinate with the different diplomatic entities, to inform them on the affairs and conditions of their nationals.
Omran reviewed the inmates’ conditions and affairs, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts and services they receive. He also valued the UAE’s remarkable role in providing care, rehabilitation and good treatment for inmates. He also thanked the Al Ain Punitive and Correctional Establishments’ Section and its personnel, for the hearty welcome. At the end of the visit, Lt. Colonel Al Nuaimi presented a commemorative shield to the visiting delegation.
