Director of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran met yesterday at Abu Dhabi police GHQ with the children of police officers participating in the educational and recreational program organized by the Clubs and Sport Activities Department during the spring vacation.
Badran urged them to enjoy the events and pay attention to their school attainment after the end of the vacation.
A total of 99 students aged 5-15 years old took part in the program which aims to help them spend their leisure time constructively , said director of Clubs and Sport Activities Department, Colonel Aref Saif Al Shamesi.
Getting out of the routine, the program this time includes trips to various tourism and heritage destination in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, he also said, adding that in the last days the students made trips to Kids Park, Ambulance and Rescue, Civil Defense, Heritage Village and Water Park.
They are also scheduled to visit the Ferrari world, Al Saadiyat Island, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Action Zone.
