Armed forces officers briefed on police work

 
A group of officers and personnel of the Armed Forces Military Police has recently joined the comprehensive police stations in the Abu Dhabi Police Capital Directorate, to get acquainted with the criminal investigation process.

According to Brig. Maktoum Al Shareefi, director of the Capital Police, the training program informs the participants of a lot of issues including, preliminary investigation, evidence recovery, case summary writing, as well as of the procedures followed while conducting forensic evidence process.

“The cooperation between Abu Dhabi Police and the military police provides a lot of opportunities of expertise sharing to enhance the efficiency of officers and personnel of both Abu Dhabi Police and the Armed Forces”, he said.

 He pointed out that Abu Dhabi implements the international standards in all areas to ensure efficient   and advanced services to the public.
