The Punitive and Correctional Institution, in Wathba, in Abu Dhabi Police discussed several issues related to experience and knowledge exchange in the various areas of police work with its counterpart at Al-Sharjah Police.
Colonel Atiq Ibrahim al-Zahiri, VP of Abu Dhabi Police Punitive and Correctional Institution met a delegation from the al-Sharjah Institution, in presence of Major Mona Khalifeh Salem, director of Wathba Female Section.
Colonel Atiq Ibrahim al-Zahiri welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed his delight for the communication and cooperation established between both sides. He explained in a brief opening presentation, the rehabilitation programs, human services and the social care received by the inmates.
The delegation visited the female section, accompanied by Colonel al-Zahiri where they were briefed about the inmates’ archive, the reception, execution and release procedures and the work mechanisms implemented at the different sections.
The visiting delegation expressed their admiration for the work system and the adopted procedures and thanked Abu Dhabi Police Punitive and Correctional Institution for the good cooperation, hospitality and care they received during this visit.
