Al Shaabiyah Police honored for taking part in breast cancer campaign
Colonel Ibrahim Sultan Al Zaabi, Director of Al Shaabiyah Police Station in Abu Dhabi Capital Police Directorate received a participation certificate from Dr. Zaid Al Suksuk, Director General of Health Authority in Abu Dhabi.
Al Shaabiyah, along with other government and private bodies, took part in the breast cancer campaign recently launched by the Authority at the Zayed Sports City.
The Community Police branch presented information to mothers on how to perform periodical breast self exam, and the importance of mammogram screening for ladies above forty.
In addition to taking part in the human formation, the Branch also distributed brochures and awareness booklets to the targeted audience urging them to conduct early test to ensure easy treatment of breast cancer and prevent its spread.
