During a ceremony held in the auditorium at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, of Interior honored a number of officers and non-commissioned officers from the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior Sector, for winning the third edition of the Ministry of Interior’s Excellence Award in the “Commander Category”. Lt. General Al Sha’far stressed the importance of motivation, to encourage and reinforce creativity and innovation, in the quest to improve police and security work.
The Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior praised the valuable achievements made by the creative officers. He urged them to seek further excellence and to improve their performance in all areas of work and then wished them further luck and success. The honoring ceremony was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services; Major General Salem Mubarak Al Shamesi, Director General of Finance and Services at the Ministry of Interior; as well as the directors general, heads of departments and a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior.
