Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, reviewed the strategic initiatives for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs (2011 – 2013) and strategic initiatives (2014- 2016), aiming to enhance the Ministry of Interior’s comprehensive strategy. .
For this end, Major General Al Khaili toured a number of Central Directorates, , namely; the Directorate General for Naturalization , the Directorate General for Ports and Airports and the Directorate General for Resources and Support Services.
Major General Khaili listened to a briefing on the achievements, the strategic and operational results, and performance indicators of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector. He underscored the need to implement the Central Ministry’s methodology, as well as develop methods that befit the nature of work in the sector. He also stressed the need to achieve the two main priorities: to enhance both human resources and customer satisfaction; noting that the participation of concerned parties such as employees, customers and partners with their complaints and proposals is an important component to develop the inputs of Performance management.
