Students from the Al Awael Kindergarten visited the Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Department, in the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police, to express their congratulations on the occasion of the 29th GCC Traffic Week, which is organized under the slogan, 'Our Goal is Your Safety.'
Captain Mohammad Abdullah Al Bloushi,, Director of the Violations Section at the Al Ain Traffic Department, thanked the children for their visit, highlighting the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate's commitment towards their safety and protection from traffic accidents.
During the visit, the children received an awareness-raising lecture, and were trained on how to cross the street. They also learned how to board and exit safely from a school bus, and the importance of remaining seated while the bus is in motion. They were educated about the significance of traffic lights, and urged to sit in the back seats of vehicles.
Al Bloushi said that organizing such field visits for students of different age groups and different grades enrich the process of ongoing traffic awareness initiatives. This will create a bridge of constructive communication between the traffic police and school students, especially those at foundation and basic levels, to ultimately build a comprehensive positive traffic culture. Concluding the visit, the Al Awael students were offered traffic awareness books and gifts.
