The Public Relations Section of Al Ain Police Directorate participated in the two-day cultural caravan organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development at Al Wagan, in the city of Al Ain, in coordination with a number of agencies, organizations, and government and private institutions from across the State.
The event aims to strengthen community partnerships with the society institutions through direct communication with individuals during the events and national occasions.
The activities of Al Ain Police included holding of educational exhibition in coordination with the Branch of Community Policing at the Al Wagan police station. Educative brochures and publications covering the role of the police in maintaining security and stability throughout the country have been presented to the visitors who also received gifts.
The heritage theatre also witnessed cultural competitions which focused on traffic, social and security related issues. Children and families living in the neighboring areas have taken part in the contest. Police musical band presented exciting performances that won the applause from the audience.
