Al Ain Police inaugurated the Futsal Championship at the Police Officers Club, with the participation of 11 teams representing many police and government entities.
The first match held on Sunday evening at the Sport Court of Al Ain Handicapped Club, joined Al Maqam Police Station and Correctional institutions teams.
Al Maqam police got a thrilling 4/0 win, and the goals were scored by Ahmed Al Shamesi, and Salim Al Kheli.
The match was refereed by Sultan Al Nuaimi, assisted by Mohammed Al Wazeer and Mamoun Abu Zaid.
The second match between Al Ain Police Directorate and Explosives Section ended with 2/0 win over Explosives team which withdrew from the match.
The next two matches which will be held at 6:30 pm next Wednesday will join Special Tasks with Operations in the first match, and Civil Defence and Zayed Higher Organization represented by the team of the deaf, in the second match.
