In cooperation with the Ajman Police GHQ, and the Emirates Driving and Training Institute in Dubai, the Ajman Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs launched an awareness initiative within the GCC Traffic week’s celebrations. The initiative, under the slogan “Your Safety is Our Goal”, included a number of awareness activities held in the front parking lot of the Directorate, such as distributing awareness booklets, gifts and pamphlets on public. It also included a Trivia quiz about the GCC Week for both the employees and the public.
The initiative elicited considerable positive interactions from the public who enjoyed the show presented by the Emirates Driving and Training Institute. The show featured a simulation of traffic accidents that can occur in the event of non-compliance with traffic regulations, including over speeding and failing to buckle the safety belt.
Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Alwan, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman expressed his thanks and appreciation for the organizers of “Your Safety is Our Goal” initiative. Furthermore, he honored Ajman Police GHQ and the Emirates Driving and Training Institute in Abu Dhabi for their efforts to ensure the success of this event.
