The Air Ambulance aircraft of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department transported six UAE citizens injured following two traffic accidents, one of which occurred in the Al Gharbia region and the other in “Ghantout” area in Abu Dhabi. The injured were transferred to Al Mafreq and Al Rahba Hospitals in Abu Dhabi to receive the necessary medical treatment.

The Operations Room of Abu Dhabi Police received a report about a traffic crash between two vehicles at the Al Gharbia region and that casualties were observed. An Air Ambulance aircraft immediately took off to the scene where the medical team performed medical supervision and transferred the injured driver of the first car; a 36 years old man and his wife, 30 years old, who sustained serious fractures to Al Mafreq Hospital. Meanwhile, the transfer of other vehicle’s driver; a 55 years old man and his two daughters aged 5 and 6 years old, was conducted, after successfully pulling them out of the car, thanks to equipment provided by the Emergency and Public Safety Department’s Rapid Intervention Team. The driver sustained serious fractures, while his daughters suffered some bruises and their condition is stable.

The Abu Dhabi Police Air Ambulance aircraft also transported a 30 year old citizen from the “Ghantout” area to Al Rahba Hospital, after sustaining several fractures to the face, jaws and right forearm, when his car crashed on the road.
