During a visit to the International Trade Fair for Pet Supplies (Interzoo 2012) in Germany, a delegation from Security Inspection Department (K9) at Abu Dhabi Police got acquainted with the latest ways and means of training and feeding police dogs.
Colonel Jamal Habash, Director of the K9 and head of the delegation said: “Abu Dhabi Police was keen to participate in the fair in order to get acquainted with the latest and most important products for pets, particularly police dogs.” He pointed out that the 4 days trade fair hosted more than 80 countries and 1500 companies specialized in pet food products, training tools and equipments, veterinary appliances, medicines and natural therapies.
Colonel Habash added that the Fair included presentations by dogs used in various fields, in addition to a series of lectures and workshops on veterinary medicine and pet feeding.
He pointed out that the Fair is regarded as one of the biggest events on pet training, feeding and therapy. It is held annually in a different country, and Shanghai, China will be the next destination for next November.
The delegation included First Lieutenant Hamad Mubarak Al Azizi; Pets feeding supervisor, Mahmoud Al Shafei and security expert, Raymond Barnes.
