The Directorate General of Policing Operations of Abu Dhabi Police recently organized blood donation campaign at the Capital Police Directorate premises, in cooperation with the mobile blood bank at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
Major –Gen. Mohammed Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director-General of Police Operations affirmed keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to support such humane initiatives which establish and strengthen social values and genuine traditions, and assist patients in operations theatres and those in emergency situations and in accidents.
"The campaign is one of other similar campaigns which will be launched this year”, he added, urging heads of police stations to encourage their staff to donate blood in such humane campaigns.
