The Events Security Department in Abu Dhabi Police recently held a workshop in collaboration with the British Association for Private Security and Public Safety Companies to secure and organize the Formula 1 circuit that will take place from November 2-4 in Abu Dhabi.
The workshop was attended by the Critical National Infrastructure Authority; the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi; the Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management companies; Flash Entertainment/ Mubadala; and Yas Marina Circuit along with a number of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters Directorates.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Ishak Suleiman, Director of Events Security Department in Abu Dhabi Police and member of the committee for securing the events, supervised the workshop, in the presence of a number of representatives from the participating institutions. Public management mechanisms were studied and events associated with the public safety were organized.
The Formula 1 events are organized regularly in the Yas Marina Circuit. This global sporting event is expected to attract a large number of tourists, professionals and fans from all over the world.
