Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations in Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, attended the graduation of 48 members of various departments of the Directorate General of Central Operations and the Security Geographical Information Centre. The members participated in the internal audit cycle based on the quality management system ISO 9001:2008 as well as in the ISO introduction course, which was held with the cooperation of the Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd Company.
Major General Al Raisi stressed the importance of these courses in elevating the efficiency of employees, which is aligned with the Abu Dhabi Police’s strategic plan. “The internal auditors must exert great efforts to improve quality management systems in organizational units in order to develop institutional work in the Directorate General. They must also enhance the quality of services provided by the organizational units beyond customer expectations and satisfaction,” added Major General Al Raisi.
The Directorate General of Central Operations has held the ISO 9001:2008 certification since 2008, and the Strategic Planning Department has developed plans to get the certificate for a number of organizational units established in the Central Operations Directorate General.
