The Abu Dhabi Police Department in the Abu Dhabi Police Directorate organized a meeting for people with special needs under the title “Raising Children.”

The meeting covered the most important rules and basics that families depend on to raise children as they are considered to be the core of the community.

Ahmad Gharib Al Mansouri, Director of Cultural and Moral Orientation Department, participated in the meeting where he discussed negligence by parents towards children, issues concerning leaving them in the care of nannies, and the parents’ absence most of the day in addition to negative effects of differentiating between brothers and sisters when dealing with children.

Religious preacher Borhan Ahmad talked about rights of children to be taken care of and protected from wrong behaviors.

Motsafa Al Atoum, Program Producer in Society Awareness Department in the Community Police Department, presented awareness programs carried out by community police.

Al Atoum assured the importance of directing and educating children and blocking them from violence, and +18 programs encouraging them instead to pursue media that will enhance their ethics and behavior.
