The Operations Department at the ADP Central Operations honored two distinguished civilians for reporting important notifications; in line with the police GHQ’s strategy to enhance communication and cooperation with the community.
The honoring is a first in the region, and was implemented after establishing specific selection criteria; most importantly, accuracy and speed of delivery of information to the Operations Room, in the case of major and serious accidents; in addition to identifying location and required police resources.
Lieutenant Fahed Al Dahmani and Corporal Saif Al Baloushi, representing the Public relations Section at the Operations Department, honored the two civilians. An Abu Dhabi National who provided first-aid to a run-over victim after taking note of the involved vehicle’s plates; and an Indian citizens, residing in the city of Al Ain, for reporting a criminal notification, providing accurate information regarding the location, which led to a quick response from the police.
The Operations Department presented the honorees with certificates of thanks and appreciation as well as commemorative gifts; in recognition of their efforts and their efficient cooperation.
