The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ), represented in the Training Department of the General Directorate of Human Resources, examined with its British counterpart cooperation in the areas of training when Major Mohammad Buraiki, Director of Abu Dhabi Police office in London, met General Michael Charlton Weedi an adviser to the British Cabinet for Emergency Services and Chief Executive of the Emergency Planning College.

  During the meeting, they reviewed the training plan, and the role of British police in providing training to the personnel selected by the Abu Dhabi Training Department.

  It was agreed to appoint a senior British police officer as a coordinating officer between the police attaché in London and officials in the British police; to coordinate the process of training in different locations.

For his part, Gen. Michael stressed readiness to strengthen cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Police and the British police

 Major Al Buraiki thanked General Michael for his cooperation, and gave him a token gift on behalf of the Ministry of Interior and the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
