The UAE Woman Police Association launched, yesterday, a “Distinctive Police Mother” Initiative as an act of appreciation to mothers who are members of the Police and to celebrate other members. The initiative covers the entire country as well as GCC countries; the initiative was launched on Mother’s Day.
First Lieutenant Amnah Mohammad Khamis Al Baloushi, President of the Association, said: “This initiative is in line with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to honor distinctive personnel and highlight the most distinguished members who carry out the demanding role of motherhood in addition to successfully performing their police duty.”
She added: “The initiative encourages female members in the Ministry of Interior to be exemplary and loyal in their service to the country on a social and professional level. It will also encourage them to continually improve their performance in accordance with best standards. The initiative aims to enhance cooperation and communication with police department locally and regionally. A total of seven local mothers and five other mothers from GCC countries were chosen to be honored in the ceremony to be held next Wednesday as an act of appreciation to their roles.”
First Lieutenant Al Baloushi greeted the Police mothers in particular, the Emirati mothers in general and all mothers around the world in celebration of Mother’s Day.
