The Ports Security Institute at the Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 60 participants after completing three one-week specialized courses in a number of police sciences.
Lieutenant Colonel Naima Salem Awad, Training Branch Manager at the Ports Security Institute indicated that the courses, organized on regular basis, embody Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to develop its human cadre’s competencies and level of performance in the various areas related to police work.
Moreover, she underscored the Institute’s keenness to resort to top professional lecturers to develop the training system in line with the rapid global developments, and to further promote the excellence process witnessed by the various police sectors in the country.
Lt. Colonel Awad added that a total of 60 graduates received theoretical and practical applications and training in a number of disciplines as part of three specialized 3 courses. This aims to hone their functional kills; and consequently improve the services provided to the public.
At the end of the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Naima Salem Awad distributed certificates to the graduates. She lauded their dedication and interaction with the courses’ programs, and called on them to exert further efforts to achieve the desired aspirations and maintain the safety and security enjoyed by the country.
