Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ awarded 119 officers appreciation medals. By virtue of the Ministerial Decree No. 642/2013, 27 officers received the Distinguished Long Service Medal, while 92 others were awarded the Loyal Service Medal.
Major General Al Awadhi congratulated the honored officers, stressing that this accolade underscores the attention dedicated by the Police Leadership to its staff members by awarding them prestigious medals. “This acknowledgment reflects an appreciation for the honored officers’ dedicated efforts whilst discharging their duties, and their diligence and perseverance to pursue police work during their tenure,” said Major General Al Awadhi.
Major General Al Awadhi urged the honored officers to pursue their diligent endeavors and excellence, to be role models for their colleagues and distinguished representatives of the police institution in the field. “This would enhance security, safety and stability in accordance with international best practices, with a view to achieve the aspirations and strategic goals of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters,” indicated Major General Al Awadhi.
This accolade reflects the keenness of the General Directorate of Police Operations in the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to honor distinguished officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and civilians. For their part, the honorees expressed their pride at receiving this recognition, vowing to pursue excellence in academic attainment and career efforts to serve the country.
