The Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department, Al Ain branch, participated in the Deaf Week activities organized by Al Ain Center for Care and Rehabilitation.
The program covered various activities such as the landing of the Air Wing Department’s helicopter at the ceremony venue. Gifts were distributed to students by the aircraft staff to create a joyful atmosphere among the children.
The Ministry of Interior recently organized the Open Day functions, which covered various social activities that targeted disabled and delinquent juveniles. The aim of these activities is to enable the children to seamlessly communicate with others and not feel isolated from society. The activities focused on self-education development, creative thinking, social emergence, entertainment, artistic expression, and sport activities along with different contests.
The Arab Federation of organizations working with the deaf decided to organize a week at the end of April 2012 to establish the rights of deaf people working in any of the Arab countries.
