Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior met today, Monday, at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters, Brigadier Marwan Charbal, Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities and the delegation accompanying him.
The Lebanese Minister of Interior conveyed the Lebanese government’s greetings to His Highness, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and reasserted the deep relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two parties agreed to set up two working groups to manage the mutual exchange of visits and expertise in the different security areas between the two countries. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Colonel Ali Khalfan Al Zahiri, Director General of Commandments Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police, and Dona El Turk, Consul General of Lebanon in the UAE.
