Colonel Ojail Ali Abdullah, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate, attended the Quality Management System Internal Auditors’ graduation. The course, which was organized in the directorate, aimed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for performing internal audits on quality procedures in the directorate as well as its affiliated centers.
Colonel Ojail stressed that the quality system is a principle that should be practiced and ingrained as an integral part of the employee’s beliefs in order optimize performance, realize continuous development, and benefit clients.
He urged staff members to redouble their efforts to promote the culture of quality and the ideal utilization of resources. He noted that such courses are important to give participants the experience and knowledge on how to: plan an internal audit, write the audit report including work discrepancies, follow up those cases, and perform a final evaluation by assessing the efficacy of implemented correctional actions.
