A delegation from the Qatari Search and Rescue Team reviewed the experiences and tasks of the UAE Search and Rescue Team of the Abu Dhabi Police.
Lt. Colonel Muhammed Ibrahim Al Amri, Director of Emergency and Public Safety Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, received the Qatari Delegation headed by Captain Khamis Al Muraikhi, Head of the Qatari Search and Rescue Team. The two sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in fields of search and rescue.
Lt. Colonel Muhammed Ibrahim Al Amri said that the visiting delegation was introduced to the experimental plan of the UAE Search and Rescue Division, equipment, facilities, and levels of readiness of the team in handling and responding to incidents. The Qatari delegation also visited the training facility in Shalilah.
The Qatari team was also received by Lt. Colonel Zayed Muhammed Al Hajiri, Vice Director of the Department and Lt. Colonel Muhammed Abdul Jalil Abdullah Al Ansari, Head of the UAE Search and Rescue Division in addition to a number of officers in the Department.
