Policeman who arrests attacker in Sharjah honored
Brig. Faris Khalifa Al Faresi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks in Abu Dhabi Police honored 1st Warrant Officer. Ali Ibrahim Al Hosani, from the Special Tasks Department, for arresting a person who attacked a taxi driver with a knife in Sharjah.
“The initiative taken by the honored in dealing with the attacker shows his quick response, boldness and sense of sacrifice, though he was not on duty,” Brigadier Al Farsi said.
“The act emphasized how efficient and professional the personnel of the Security Guard and Special Tasks are in coping with different situations and protecting people and ensuring their safety,” he said:”
He congratulated the honored and urged him to continue to perform and set an example to his colleagues. He presented him a souvenir as a token of appreciation for his act of courage.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Rashid Sohail, Director of the Special Tasks Department and number of police officers
