The Police Schools Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters recently organized field visits to a number of police departments for 44 male recruits from the Basic Training Course No. 95 and 22 female recruits from the Basic Training Course No. 39 for female recruits.
These visits are a part of the academic program of the training courses, and are designed to acquaint male and female recruits with nature of police work, and to provide them with the necessary expertise and skills on how to deal with various police tasks and duties.
The field visits included the Al Ain Operations Room, the Falaj Hazzaa Police Station, the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department (the Al Ain Section), the Traffic Institute in Al Ain, and the Crime Scene in Al Ain. During the visits, recruits were briefed on the valuable role undertaken by the police and security bodies at the various departments. They were also acquainted with the most important issues that are handled by the sections and branches affiliated to the police stations, as well as the proper ways to resolve them in a professional manner.
