Participants in Kickboxing course graduated
The Clubs and Sport Activities Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 12 personnel from the Special Tasks Department, who completed the second basic course in kickboxing.
The ceremony, held at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Aref Saif Al Shamesi, Director of Clubs and Sport Activities Department and Lit. Colonel Salman Al Qahtani, head of the Support Services Section at the Special Tasks Department.
“Abu Dhabi Police is working to provide all the means of success in various sports”, said Colonel Al Shamesi.
“Police work requirements include high physical fitness and having different sport skills in order that police personnel could carry out their tasks appropriately, he added.
