The Ministry of Interior discussed unifying websites’ work mechanism in all its sectors, according to the UAE e-Government standards. It also tackled the issue to develop a unified policy to establish Ministry-level libraries.
The Information and Public Relations Coordination Committee at the Ministry held a meeting, headed by Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadi, Acting Director of Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior, and Chairman of the Committee. The meeting was held at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club, in the presence of Colonel Dr. Jassem Khalil Mirza, Director of Security Awareness at Dubai Police, and all members of all State Police Headquarters.
Moreover, attendees discussed field visits mechanism to concerned authorities to review their experiences in establishing libraries, as well as organizing a general forum for Federal Ministries, institutions, local communities, and private companies. The forum aims to exchange expertise and leverage them to implement the best practices in public relations, and provide the best services to the public.
