The Higher Command Committee of Punitive and Correctional Institutions discussed promoting the role of punitive and correctional institutions during its second meeting in 2012 headed by Colonel Hamad Adeel Al Shamesi, Director General of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in the Ministry of Interior. The meeting was held at the Research and Studies Department, Sharjah Police Headquarters.
The meeting reviewed a number of topics on the agenda, and the recommendations of the previous meeting.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Mohammed Saif Matar Al Zaabi, Director, Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department-Abu Dhabi; Directors of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, Member of the Committee; and Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Seraidi, Director of Quality Department, in the Strategy and Performance Development General Directorate, at the Ministry of Interior.
