Khalifa police station donates blood
Khalifa City Police Station has recently organized a blood donation campaign under the patronage of Peripheral Areas Police Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police in collaboration with Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Abu Dhabi Blood Bank which dispatched a mobile blood donation unit.
“Blood donation is an initiative that deepens the principle of social responsibility between the police and the community, and promotes voluntary work,” said Lt. Col. Abdul Nour Abdullah Al Shehhi, director of Khalifa City Police Station.
The campaign attracted huge number of police officers and personnel working at the Khalifa City Police Station, who wanted to contribute to a an important social and modern phenomenon that aims to reinforce social solidarity and national affiliation.
