A number of investigating officers from the Comprehensive Police Stations got acquainted with the functions and tasks of the Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and were briefed on its achievements in the field of forensic evidence processing.
Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of Criminal Evidence Department met the officers, and emphasized that they are closely related to the nature of work of the Forensic Evidence Department. He added that the exchange of knowledge and better understanding of police functions in the various areas of specialization, enhance fruitful cooperation and lead to accurate performance and professionalism in this field; and also contribute to better performance in the field of investigation, by better understanding the work of Forensic Evidence.
The officers were also briefed on the functions of the various departments and got acquainted with the internationally recognized high quality security services. They were given detailed explanations on the tasks of forensic laboratories, and means to uncover the truth by examining and analyzing forensic evidence collected from crime scenes, as well as writing technical reports to be sent to court.
