Colonel Mohammed Saif Al Matar Al Zaabi, Director of Al Wathba Punitive and Correctional Institution, in Abu Dhabi Police inaugurated the Specialized Training Institute for Punitive and Correctional institutions, which includes 5 training halls that can accommodate up to 100 trainees, equipped with modern tools and demo equipment.  

Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized that the Institute will provide specialized training courses in the field of Punitive, correctional and security work, including the theoretical and applied aspects.

Moreover, he explained that the Institute will receive trainees from the various punitive and correctional institutions at the State level, who will contribute in turn, to elevate the level of performance and enable the strategic priorities related to the optimal use of human resources.

The opening ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Saad Mohammad Saad Al Yaakib, Head of Support Services Coordination Department, Lt. Colonel Ahmed Abdullah Al Khayal, Head of Al Wathba Police Department, Lieutenant Abdullah Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director, Office of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department’s Director, as well as a number of officers and individuals.
