The Q7 Department celebrated the graduation of 17 of its staff, after completing a specialized security course. The ceremony was attended by Colonel Rashid Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Department; Major Ali Hamad Al Hassani, Head of the Field Training section; and a large number of officers.
Al Shamsi indicated that the two-month course included various field, sports and shooting exercises, and other related drills. He added that trainees were qualified to perform their duties to the fullest, in line with the Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy, to enhance the skills and raise the level of competence of its staff in the various departments.
Moreover, in his address on the occasion, Al Shamsi urged the graduates, to redouble the efforts to serve the nation and develop performance. He lauded their interaction with the course’s programs; pointing out that their significant enthusiasm and overwhelming response with all the theoretical and practical exercises, led to the success of the course.
