The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police recently celebrated the graduation of three training courses at the Traffic Institute in the city of Al Ain. The courses were attended by a number of non-commissioned officers and civilian personnel from the various departments and sections of Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Departments. Notably, eight participants took part in the preparation course for “traffic accident technicians and mid-size vehicle inspection”; 61 participants followed a course on “driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI); another 17 participants attended the “Traffic Safety skills, rules and procedures”.
“The courses’ participants received theoretical and scientific applications, which contribute to develop their potential on the optimal way to deal with road users. This raises and improves the efficiency of police work and promote traffic safety in our community,” said Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Mahri, Head of Al Ain Traffic Institute of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate.
For his part, Captain Salem Ali Al Kutbi, Director of Training branch at the Institute expressed his thanks to the courses’ supervisors for their outstanding cooperation in training the participants at the Traffic and Patrols Institute complex. He also urged the graduates to apply the knowledge they acquired in their work. Concluding, he distributed certificates to the graduates.
