A total of 51 participants graduated after completing 4 training courses at the Ports Security Institute of ADP, in line with Abu Dhabi GHQ’s strategy to raise the efficiency of police and security personnel, and enhance their skills, as per international- best practices.

Lieutenant colonel Naima Salem Awad, Training branch manager at the Ports and Airports Security Police, indicated that 51 participants took part in the 4 courses organized by the Institute. She noted that 24 participants pursued two courses on detection and inspection using computer simulation, where they were acquainted with the methods and devices used in detection and inspection of luggage; 12 other participants took part in the English course to learn and improve their language skills; while 15 participants enrolled in another specialized security course.

At the end of the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Naima Salem Awad congratulated the graduates, calling on them to exert further efforts to upgrade the tasks entrusted to them, before distributing the certificates, in the presence of a number of officers from the Ports and airports Security Police at ADP.
