Colonel Humaid Saeed Al Afreet, Head of Firearms and Explosives Department at ADP Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs attended the graduation ceremony of 32 personnel trainees who completed three specialized courses.
Colonel Al Afreet emphasized the importance of such training courses to develop technical skills and acquaint participants with the latest innovations and practical applications in various specialized fields.
He urged the graduates to pursue further academic attainment and to raise their efficiency in line with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy, in order to face eventual challenges and enhance security. Colonel Al Afreet then distributed certificates to the graduates, wishing them success in their work.
The courses, attended by officers and non-commissioned officers from the Firearms and Explosives, the Crime Scene, forensics and Security Inspection Departments; included both theoretical and practical applications in various security fields, related to investigation and security checks.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Khalid Al Shehhi, head of the investigation team, and by Captain Khalifa Al Faliti, head of training at the Firearms and Explosives Department.
