The Al Ain Police Directorate carried out a successful evacuation drill for its staff and customers, as part of the Environment, Health and Public Safety methodology pursued by the Directorate, to maintain security and safety of its staff, in the event of the occurrence of various accidents.
The drill aims to promote the safety and security culture; ways of dealing with emergency situations; and to ensure the readiness of both the building and staff, for various circumstances.
According to training scenario, the Directorate staff and customers evacuated the building through emergency exits, when the false fire alarm sounded. Then, they all gathered at the predetermined assembly points in the Directorate’s courtyard.
The drill was carried out according to the best standards; in terms of speed and accuracy of procedures, to educate the Directorate’s staff on the means of dealing professionally with such cases, to be a role model for community members in protecting lives and property.
