Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, met with Meryl Balestrazzi, Deputy Central Director of the French Judicial Police, Vice-President of the European Executive Committee in the Interpol and her delegation, on Wednesday at the Ministry’s Headquarters.
During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, including the means of promoting cooperation and coordination in security fields between the Ministry of Interior and the INTERPOL Executive Committee, as well as the exchange of expertise and information with the French Judicial Police.
The meeting was attended by Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif, Director General of Criminal Security at the Ministry of Interior; Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior; and Major Mubarak Said Al Khaili, Director of Interpol Forensic Security Department at the Ministry of Interior. At the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged memorial gifts.
