Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, deputy commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police, awarded 20 officers from Abu Dhabi Police their new ranks on the occasion of their promotion to “Lt. Colonel”, following the Federal Decree No. 106 of the year 2012, which was issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
Al Ketbi congratulated the newly promoted officers, praising their efforts in the performance of their duties. He emphasized that this promotion reflects the attention dedicated by the Higher Leadership to its people; and in recognition of their continuous efforts and dedication to protect security and stability of the state and preserve its national gains.
He added that all police members are capable of carrying on their duties and the increasing security responsibilities of the security forces. He called on them to exert further efforts and dedication, to constantly improve police work.
