The Al Ain Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs Department took part in the Arab Orphans Day celebrations, recently organized by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs at the Emirates Park Zoo.

The Department participated with a heritage pavilion featuring traditional children's games; face painting for kids; henna for female children;, and gifts.

Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department in Al Ain noted that this participation stems from the Department’s  social responsibility  towards all the segments of  society; particularly towards this category, which has been given  the utmost attention and care from H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. . Colonel Khalifa underscored the keenness of the Department to keep pace with this humanitarian approach, to integrate this category into society.

At the end of the ceremony, Salem Saif Khamis Al Kaabi, Director General of the Zayed House for Family Care, presented the Zayed House shield to Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department, in appreciation of its participation in this event.
