Air Wing Department transported 25 year-old UAE national from a hospital to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, and also transported an 8 month- old Emarati child from Delma Hospital in the western region to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
The central operations received a tip off stating that 25 year-old UAE national man had a traffic accident and sustained fracture in the right arm and scattered bruises.
An air wing plane immediately took off and medical examination has been conducted to ensure his condition is stable while being transported. Then he was flown to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain before being taken by ambulance to Al Jimi hospital.
The central operations also received a tip off that an 8 month-UAE child was suffering from a colon problem and was in need of an urgent surgery in Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
An Air wing plane rushed to Delma Hospital where medical staff provided the necessary care to the child to keep his condition stable before arriving to Khalifa hospital.
