The General Department of the Residency and Foreigner Affairs in Abu Dhabi, and its sub-departments in Al Ain and Al Gharbiyah Region completed 9,032 transactions during the Eid Holiday. The transactions included 5,213 of issuing, renewing, and canceling residency permits, and 3,819 transactions of issuing, renewing, and canceling visas.
Colonel Saeed Salm Salmen Al Shamsi, Director General, General Department of Residency and Foreigner Affairs in Abu Dhabi said that the transactions completed during Eid in the headquarters, and in Al Ain and Al Gharbiyah departments reflected the efforts made by the employees to serve nationals, residents, and visitors of the country in line with the vision of the police leadership in extending services to the public.
He stressed the commitment of the department in facilitating transactions for nationals, residents and visitors of the country in the departments and divisions of the General Department through their dedicated teams, noting that the aim is to perform the transactions at the earliest, reduce the burdens faced by the public, and enhance the quality of performance to elevate the work to the highest level.
